ABOUT US
Clemson Puppies with a Purpose is a student-led organization dedicated to supporting the Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind through volunteer puppy raising, as well as assistance animal advocacy and education. Students can get involved as puppy raisers, puppy sitters or campers, or general members to help raise future guide dogs and promote awareness of assistance animals within the community.
We officially became a student organization in March 2023 and welcomed our first two guide dogs in training in May 2023. Our door is always open to new members—whether you’re interested in raising a puppy or simply want to attend a meeting or campus event. None of our meetings are required, and club dues are optional. Anyone curious about our organization is welcome to join us at any of our events this semester. You can find all upcoming meetings and activities on our events calendar.
