About Us

Clemson Puppies with a Purpose is a student-led organization that exists to support the Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind through volunteer puppy raising and assistance animal advocacy and education. Students can get involved as puppy raisers, puppy sitters/campers, or general members in order to help raise future guide dog puppies for GDF and provide assistance animal awareness to the community.

We became established as a student organization in March 2023, and we welcomed our first two guide dogs in training in May 2023. Our door is always open to new members, whether they are interested in puppy raising, or if they would simply like to join us at one of our meetings or events on campus! None of our meetings are required, and club dues are optional. Anyone who is interested in our organization is welcome to come to anything we have planned this semester. The events calendar lists all of our upcoming meetings and events for anyone who may be interested.
